20 November 2026, 9:30am - 11:30am
Location: Wrexham University, Plas Coch Campus, Mold Road, Wrexham, LL11 2AW
Join care-experienced speaker, teacher and author Sam Gardner as he shares his personal journey through the care system and explores the lasting impact that positive relationships, understanding and support can have on children and young people in care.
Drawing on his own experiences, Sam will offer a powerful insight into what growing up in care can feel like and the difference that trusted adults can make.
Foster Wales Wrexham will also be attending with an information stall, where you can meet our friendly team, ask questions and find out more about becoming a foster carer for local children and young people.
Whether you’re considering fostering or simply want to learn more about the care system, everyone is welcome.
